Rosé Brut NV

The Brochet-Dolet Rosé NV is made exclusively from Pinot Noir. A small proportion of red wine (Pinot Noir) is blended with the base wine to achieve its pale pink colouring. The wine is aged for at least 3 years on lees and has a dosage of 10g/l.  

The colour of pink blush, a fine, persistent bead unfurls in the glass. The nose is intensely perfumed with red berry fruit, rose petals and hints of spice. The palate shows fresh acidity and a soft, creamy mousse that complements flavours of ripe raspberries, sweet pastry and a touch of mocha. The finish is long and refreshing, with enduring notes of red fruit.

An elegant wine with a concentration of flavour often lacking from modern rosé champagne. With its intensity of fruit character this wine would serve brilliantly as a springtime aperitif, but also presents an excellent pair for food. Within the Champagne region, rosé is commonly served alongside desserts, especially those centred around fruit, chocolate or rosewater.
